In Memoriam

Judge Ronald M. Friedman

It is with great shock and profound sadness that we recognize the passing of our friend and colleague, Ronald Friedman. He will be remembered for his intellect, wit and wisdom. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and all those who were privileged to know him.

Judge David L. Tobin

We are saddened by the passing of Judge David L. Tobin, a distinguished mediator with our firm for many years. David was a beloved mentor and friend to many of our “judicial” panel members.

A graduate of the University of Miami, David was also very proud of his attendance at the U. S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.  Judge Tobin served on the Eleventh Circuit Court for over 14 years.

David had a great sense of humor and was great to talk to about “anything.”  We will miss him.

Judge Phil Cook

Judge Phil Cook was without a doubt one of the Miami law community’s favorites. Ours as well.

Judge Cook graduated from the University of Miami Law School and practiced for 30 years. He followed that with another 30 years on the bench. We will miss his jovial spirit and kind heart.

Judge Leonard Rivkind

Salmon & Dulberg Dispute Resolution sadly announces the passing of Judge Leonard Rivkind on November 14, 2009.

Judge Rivkind will be remembered for his wisdom and intellect which he first brought to the bench and later to the mediation table.

Judge Michael H. Salmon

All of us at Salmon & Dulberg Resolution will fondly recall our dear friend and respected colleague, Judge Michael H. Salmon, who passed away on September 24, 2008.

Judge Salmon will be remembered as a distinguished jurist and true gentleman. We will certainly miss the intelligence and wit he brought to the mediation process.

Judge Allen Kornblum

We also remember another well loved member of our panel, Judge Allen Kornblum.

A fine lawyer, distinguished jurist and accomplished mediator, Judge Komblum was a credit to his profession. Most of all, we will miss his constant smile and positive attitude towards life.

Martin B. Woods, Esq.

Martin joined our panel following a distinguished thirty plus years as a partner at Stearns Weaver. His passing was a shock to all of us. A superb lawyer and mediator, Martin will be remembered most as a wonderful person and friend.
