Mediation Rates:
– 2 Party Case: $500 per hour
– 3 Party Case: $540 per hour
– 4 Party Case: $590 per hour
Minimum Fees:
– Half Day – 2 hours, or the amount of time reserved if more than 2 hours
– Full Day – 8 hours, or the amount of time reserved if more than 8 hours
The mediation fee is calculated based on your Mediator’s hourly billing rate as detailed above including any pre-mediation preparation time and post-mediation follow-up time spent on the matter. Note: we do not charge any administrative, scheduling, or rescheduling fees. In exchange we ask that you please respect our time and the cancellation policy below.
MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY
If a half-day mediation is canceled or rescheduled less than three (3) days (Monday – Friday) prior to the scheduled session, or if a full-day mediation is canceled or rescheduled less than five (5) days (Monday – Friday) prior to the scheduled session, each party will be billed for their portion of the minimum fee. Note: it is your responsibility to notify us of a schedule change or cancellation; you should not rely on another party to do so. Please keep in mind our cancellation policy is meant to fairly compensate your Mediator for reserving the time scheduled for this mediation, which typically cannot be filled in less than 72 hours.
Robert A. Dulberg has been certified by The Supreme Court of Florida as a mediator since 1989. He is also certified as a mediator in the Southern District of the U.S. District Court. He is a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, a Diplomate member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Robert is a past Chair of the Dade County Bar Association and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Professional Family Mediators. Originally a mediator with the Mediation/Arbitration Division of the Circuit Court for Dade County, Florida from 1989-1991, and an attorney admitted to practice in Florida since 1972, Robert has extensive mediation experience having mediated well over 5,000 cases to date.
A sought after lecturer and recognized author on mediation techniques for both colleagues and litigators, Robert is also an accomplished jazz pianist performing regularly around the state of Florida.
