Robert L. Teitler

Robert L. Teitler is a Florida native who has practiced law in this state for over 37 years. Rob has worked for the state and in private practice, handling an array of personal injury and premises liability cases at both the trial and appellate levels. During the course of his career, Rob has handled hundreds of appeals, resulting in an impressive 213 reported appellate decisions. Rob has also represented County government for many years in various sectors, including labor and employment, ethics, procurement and transactional, aviation, personal injury and taxation, and has served as Chair of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of The Florida Bar.

Martin A. Soll

Martin A. Soll is a well respected mediator and arbitrator throughout the State of Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and DePaul University School of Law. He holds a Masters of Labor/Industrial Relations from Loyola University Institute of Industrial Relations. Martin is a Certified Circuit Civil, County, Family and Federal District Court Mediator who has mediated thousands of cases in the areas of employment discrimination and labor law, personal injury, commercial, admiralty, aviation, insurance and family law.

Jose Smith

Mr. Smith is a graduate with honors from the University of Florida. After gaining considerable litigation experience, he founded his own firm in 1983. He was Board Certified from 1992-1997. After serving on the Miami Beach City Commission for 8 years, he was appointed City Attorney, serving until 2014. He then served as City Attorney in North Miami Beach until 2018. For over 30 years, Mr. Smith has also been involved in all aspects of local government law. He has developed a unique, well rounded expertise in identifying complex legal problems and finding practical solutions.

Joseph B. Shacter

Joseph B. Shacter is a Florida native, who has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1978 and a Certified Circuit Civil and County Mediator since 2007. He currently concentrates his private law practice in real estate and business transactions. While a corporate attorney representing franchisors, he drafted documents and closed on numerous multi-million dollar business sales, which transactions invariably included the sale or lease of commercial real estate. In his years of private practice, Joseph has conducted hundreds of residential real estate closings and litigated countless collection, foreclosure and tenant eviction cases.
